Nah, he's not just a lager lout. He seems to drink everything, from proper cask ale to BrewDog. But I've noticed that the British have a peculiar relationship to Eurolager, necking it indiscriminately, I suppose just because it's cheap down here compared to at home.

Which reminds me. I did indulge in a half pint of keg Sam Smith's Double Four lager at a Sam Smith's pub that had no cask OBB on in London last month. It was excellent, and only 4%. Why can't or won't Germans brew something like this instead of foisting disgusting Radler upon people who want a lower-strength tipple?
