| Huh. Didn't know Lufthansa charged more than others for this. I shall investigate. Picking BOS - FRA - MUC - BOS for 10 - 24 November gives me $1125 for the direct flights. The same dates for BOS - MUC - BOS give me the same price, and $1142 for BOS - FRA - BOS from Lufthansa's own webbie. But I suppose those aren't cheap flights, only 2 months in advance? Looking in April, I see the multi-airport version costs $100 more with the direct flights, $300 more with a two-hour layover in Toronto on the return. They didn't charge me much extra for my NUE-FRA-ATL / Nashville-ORD-FRA flight last spring, but that was also a very late booking, and wasn't cheap to begin with. |
