Quite right Nick! this nonsense with the wine glasses IMBO,is all part of the Gentrification of beer. With of course the final aim of "value addition" or,charging one more for less beer.As for the theory that the wine glass will allow one to asses the true aroma of the beer,B########!
This type of of glass is ok for the "Hop sniffers" but I feel that the shape and size of the traditional glass provides a better overall appreciation of taste and aroma.
Btw your time in thanet seems to be influencing your colloquialisms,I would have expected "jerk off deformed italian wine glasses" Ha!
