I think the quantities of Vollbier consumed during time spent in Franken affects ability to keep this data clearly "in the head" over time.

But yes, Meister Vollbier would be rated under the Dark Lager category, Witzgall (for lack of a "better" example jumping to mind, i.e. one from Jürgenland) Vollbier would be rated in the Pale Lager category.
