| Thanks for the offer - I'm actually in Prague beginning of December... but please let me know in future if you have capacity. My experience of PET bottles is exclusively small breweries; Dvur Chyne, Antos, Uneticky, Modra Hvezda, Radous (one), Purkmistr, Permon etc. And I have never had anything less than top quality, though I can see why this might not always be the case, especially with bigger breweries. Keeping them cold and dark is crucial, because they are so fresh, almost always fresher than bottled beers, plus they aren't force carbonated. I think the differences would be a lot less discernable with hoppier/stronger flavoured beers, but as I say the subtleties in a Svetly Lezak are soon lost in a bottle (in my experience). Hey ho, it's all down to personal taste. |
