| Let you know about the location later! I didn't realise that the stout had port in it until I read it later, I thought it was called porter stout, so you can't taste the port - well I didn't. As for the Dark Star, my taste for hops isn't as well developed as yours! I might check it later. I had also a 'cask' pilsner brewed by the Liverpool Organic Brewing Co. Now this was really wierd. We (self and micropub proprietor) guessed that it must be brewed obergaerig to a Pilsner recipe but it tasted nothing like any pils that I've had, the though my experience of Czech beer is rather fragmentary, based mainly on supermarket versions of big brewery products. It was quite murky but surprisingly pleasant. But my question is why do it? |
