| Thanks for the explanations. I'll drink to that Gunnar! Just been to Aldi and counted upwards of 20 PA/IPAs on their shelves (plus another 10 beers from other micro's), priced between €1.89 for their own brands to €2.89. Really quite value for money, given the price of beer in an Irish pub. I don't know what's going on here. I've read that the 'Aldi family' is tearing itself apart for control of the companies but they are the most astute marketeers, so must be doing ok selling this stuff. I only buy bottle conditioned beers and only 3 were such and I've tried 2, so just bought the third. |
