I was trying to remember the name of the guy who founded Ringwood and now remember that it was Peter Austin, who trained Al Pugsley (who I had never heard of).

There is an obituary to Austin, who died in 2014, by Roger Protz, that you can find at:

Protz claims that Austin was involved in the founding of 140 breweries worldwide, including 40 un the USA. Perhaps he does merit the title of' 'father of the mircrobrwery industry'?
