Czech or Franconian Lager

I think my perfect lager would be a 9° version of Pilsner Urquell. The very few 10° or 9° lagers I found in Prague a year ago were just too thin, whereas my own, home-made version of 9° PU (500 ml green bottle of PU with 100 ml of Störtebeker or Jever alc-free in a frosted PU mug/jug/Krug) is about as as good as it gets for Mrs & me. The diluted buttery black pepper notes are just lovely.

Franconians don't seem interested in sub-4.5% beer other than disgusting Radler. As that's what I am after these days, Franconian lager takes a back seat to Czech that I wish I could get here, like the mythical Kout 10°.

As Pivnizub says, these are the best places on Earth for quality lager in any case. For full-strength Vollbier, it's hard to beat fränkisches Bier in Franken (or Franconian beer in Franconia). The bland stuff in Munich is a joke in comparison.
