| On Tuesday I made it to Brau Beviale. Thanks to Jan for the voucher and both Jan and Nick for recommending I go. It was really interesting and a good time. Loads of beer to sample not just in Craft Beer Corner but also just walking around the various exhibits and enjoy the samples they had including some real ale. I enjoyed it so much I had a hard time tearing myself away to leave. As it stood I stayed about 2 hours longer than I originally intended. I planned on touring around Nuremburg a bit after the show but it got later than I planned so I headed straight back ... although I did stop off at Neder in Forchheim for a couple of seidla (yum!!) and then the place not far from there called Vogelgaessler where they have Brauerei Forst bayerische anstich and good food too. I'm visiting Nuremburg again in December with my wife so I figured I could skip exploring it for now. We're going to spend a day there on December 8th to check out the Christmas market and a pub or three. |
