IPA coming to Bamberg |

| Roland Kundmüller has brewed since some years all years an IPA as a special edition. Over the time he has changed the hops (Cascade, Citra, Simcoe, Huell Melon, Mosaic and Spalter Select) and 2016 he has used more of these hops. This 2016 edition is one of the best German IPAs in my opinion. They brew only 20 hl for 200 cases (20 x 0,5 l). So it is not a business, more a pleasure. Matt has tasted this IPA and after a discussion they have decided to brew together an IPA using the receipt of his famous "Hop Juju Imperial IPA". Matt hopes that Roland Kundmüller will visit his brewery and show him how to brew a Lager of Kundmüller. So the cooperation is not the plan to conquer Germany with Imperial IPAs, but to learn and have fun together. |
