| Clarity is achieved by long lagering and/or filtering (or fining!). Being ungespundet has, in theory, nothing to do with clarity, though an ungespundetes beer will highly, highly likely be unfiltered. If I implied it wsa "excellent", that was a mistake. It was drinkable, maybe even "good". I wouldn't say the latter-days U is "excellent" though. More drinkable than it used to be, in that it has SOME BIT of maltiness to it now. Here was Saturday's Seidla, didn't strike me as particularly hazy, nor particularly clear:  |
